General Pharmacology objectives

 The main objective of studying pharmacology is to teach students the safe and effective use of drugs.

 This is achieved through presenting adequate information about different groups of drugs, their mechanism of action, indications, and side effects are presented. In addition, drug pharmacokinetics concerning absorption, distribution, and elimination will be described.
