The faculty members are well known in Jordan and in the region with regard to their teaching, research activities, publications and their excellent relationships between themselves and their students and the local community. The faculty graduates enjoy good reputation at the national and regional level | The faculty is playing a major role in serving the local community through organizing seminars, lectures, and providing consultations for legal institutions.The faculty of law seeks to play a vital role in creating generation who is aware and well-educated with legal knowledge concerning legislation and other legal issues.This goal can be achieved through adopting a comprehensive and modern curriculum that covers all recent issues related to theory and practice of law. This curriculum is reviewed regularly in order to cope with the most current legal developments locally and internationally |
Academic Programs and Degrees: The Faculty of Law has two programs and grants to degrees: A. Bachelor of Law (LLB)
This is an undergraduate program leading to the bachelor degree in law (LLB). This program requires the student to complete 133 credit hours. B. Master of Law (LLM)
There are two graduate programs leading to the master degree in law; one in law and police sciences with cooperation of the faculty of law and the Jordanian Police Academy; the other is in law..The first program is mainly designed for police officers who are required to study 39 credit hours. The second program is designed for civil students who are required to study 33 credit hours. |
